The additional steps we take to add value to the project. 

Being able to look at 2-dimensional plans, sections and elevations and visualize it in 3D is an architects specialty. Architects have spent most of their time drawing and reading plans at all scales. We don’t expect our developer, investor, or clients to be able to take construction documentation and turn it into a three dimensional model in their mind.  Throughout the process from concept design to construction documentation we will provide 3D renderings and fly-throughs throughout the project. We found this method has been extremely helpful.

For the Owner they have a better understanding of what they are buying based on the renders. It is cost effective and less time to make changes early in the design phase than in the construction field. This is where project cost and conflicts arise. The value of this process helps the client save time and money.

For the Developer they have an easier time explaining the project to their investors. They are able to market the project and raise capital.  We have had projects pre-sell from the renderings alone prior to even putting a shovel in the ground.

For the Contractor the renderings and fly-throughs helps them understand what they are bidding and building. They are able to communicate and explain to sub-contractors the work and end result. This helps reduce confusion and save time.

Taking advantage of the latest software’s

As an architecture firm, CFZDesign prides itself on staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and software available in the industry. We believe that using the latest software not only helps us to design more efficiently, but also allows us to provide a better experience for our clients.

One of the software tools we use extensively is Revit. Revit is a powerful 3D modeling software that allows us to create detailed and accurate building designs. With Revit, we can easily create virtual models of buildings, which can then be used to produce drawings and visualizations. This software helps us to identify potential issues before construction begins, which can save time and money.

Another software tool that we use is clash detection software. Clash detection software allows us to identify any conflicts or clashes in the design before construction begins. This is particularly useful for complex building designs with many different components, as it helps us to ensure that all elements of the building fit together correctly.

Live 3D models are another tool we use to help our clients visualize their design. We create interactive 3D models that allow clients to explore the design in real-time. This helps them to better understand the design and make informed decisions about changes they would like to make.

In addition to Revit, clash detection software, and live 3D models, we also use other software tools such as AutoCAD and SketchUp. AutoCAD is a software tool that we use to produce 2D drawings, while SketchUp is a 3D modeling software tool that allows us to quickly create 3D models of buildings.

How do we stand out

_Feasibility Study
This phase is the most important part when purchasing real estate. Understanding if a property is financially viable helps the client make smart investments. During this phase the client will provide CFZ Design a survey ideally but a property’s address would do. CFZ Design will being researching the Zoning code and type of construction for that area. We will provide an “As of Right Option”. In addition we would provide alternative options where we take advantage of variances and waivers to maximize the return on investment. We will provide 3D block massing’s and concept floor plans.
